Not wanting to brave the arctic tundra and needing some groceries, I decided to give Instacart a try.

Pluses:
– You get to choose the exact products you want
– Option to select alternatives if your choices aren’t in stock
– Everything delivered to your door
– Good communication with driver

Negative:
– Ordering site is sloooow
– As with any “gig” delivery app, the drivers choose whether they do the work, and your order may not be picked if you don’t pre-tip it (I pre-tipped the recommended 10%)

I will probably use it again…I only shop every couple weeks, and only for myself, so subscribing won’t save me any money.
